JHL RESPONDS TO FINE IN IRU CASE

On the evening of September 7th, Judge Judith Sheindlin ("Judge Judy") called a special session of the State Municipal Court to investigate charges of injunction violation brought forward by the newly formed Fair Cloning Coalition. After a 28 hour hearing, JHL was found "guilty" of violating the June 15th injunction barring JHL from posting non-court sanctioned material. The judge ordered JHL to pay a 7.3 million dollar fine to the Flesh Ribbons Campaign, a strictly non-profit organization headed up by JHL Chief Operating Officer Brad Randolph.

Judge Finds JHL Guilty of Injunction Violation - Orders 7.3 Million Dollar Fine

TEXAS, September 9 /PRNewswire/ -- In a decision that doesn't come to much of a suprise to many industry insiders, Judge Judith Sheindlin (a.k.a., Judge Judy) found Joel's Head Laboratories guilty of injunction violations and ordered JHL to pay a staggering 7.3 million dollar fine to the Flesh Ribbons Campaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of cloning science.

"This is a big win for [the Fair Cloning Coalition]. The information provided to us was incredibly up-to-date and accurate. Only the highest officials normally have access to this type of information. We couldn't have asked for anything more." stated FCC chairman Dave Abbott. "After we received the tip from the JHL insider, we felt it was our responsibility to report it to the judge." The Fair Cloning Coalition (or FCC) was formed in late July to actively pursue legal proceedings against massive cloning conglomerates and the often unfair and imhumane methods they employ.

Obviously, JHL CEO Greg Major was not as excited. "Obviously we are gravely concerned that the United States legal system is taking such irrelevant documents as these [complete, signed, and dated inventory bills from the JHL warehouse and revenue reports for the past few months] into account when making decisions that could impact our bottom line." Most industry insiders agree that this decision will not, however, have a significant impact on JHL's cash flow. This point was apparently validated when JHL CFO Tanya Barnett paid the 7.3 million dollar fine in cash.
