TRIAL DATE SET IN IRU CASE

On September 15th, Judge Judith Sheindlin ("Judge Judy") set a trial date of September 24th as the result of the frivolous litigation brought forward by Innovative Rasterizers Unlimited. Despite formal complaints registered with the United States Justice Department, it appears this case will be brought to full trial.

September 24th Trial Date Set in FCC/IRU vs JHL Case

TEXAS, September 15 /PRNewswire/ -- A trial date of September 24, 1999 has finally been set in the FCC/IRU vs JHL case. Judge Judith Sheindlin made the annoucement early this morning.

Despite the sluggish pace so far, both sides remain optimistic about the outcome. "I think we're gonna win this one. I can feel it in the air tonight. Whoa-oooh.", stated Innovative Rasterizer Unlimited's CEO Dave Abbott.

Joel's Head Laboratories CEO Greg Major was quoted as saying, "This whole fiasco just makes me [deleted] nuts. Is our society so [deleted] screwed up that a honest business can't make a [deleted] dollar without every little [deleted] coming out of the [deleted] woodwork to get his piece of the [deleted] pie? It just makes me [deleted] nuts, that's all. Lousy [deleted] [deleted] inbred [deleted] humpers! Oh yeah - we're gonna win this [deleted] trial, too!"

Industry insiders have speculated that the trial has caused some tension in upper management at JHL. The public relations department at JHL, on the other hand, feverishly denies those claims stating that "all is well" and "there is as much tension as might be expected in this situation".

In a suprise move, Judge Sheindlin announced that the trial would be held in Houston. The jury, as expected, has been sequestered. The trial is expected to last at least one month while both sides present their arguments before the jury.
