Houston, Texas (November 30, 2001) -- Joels Head Laboratories will
donate $100 million to local Houston-area residents. The donation
marks the third community-based gift in the company's history.
The donation, to be distributed over the next three days, will include
$90,000,000 in tax-free gifts for financially stable residents in
the upper tax bracket, $8,000,000 to local law firms, and $2,000,000
to fund new initiatives in "genetic cloning awareness" programs
in local schools. In recognition of the gift, the Scroggins Elementary
School will be renamed Joels Head Elementary; Port Houston Elementary
School will have its field house emblazoned with the Joels Head corporate
logo.
"It's an extraordinary gift," said John Hartwig, president
of Houston Engineering Council, a local law firm. "We are very
proud that the gracious people at JHL have chosen to recognize us
in such a positive way. Gifts of this size are truly uncommon, especially
for entities that the general public doesn't appreciate--such as law
firms. Thanks to the JHL's support, we can finally add on to our weight
room and have a more elaborate Christmas party. It's a wonderful opportunity
for everyone involved."
Greg Major is the CEO of Joels Head Laboratories and currently lives
in Houston. He personally directed that some of this year's corporate
revenue be spent on bettering the community.

it is to increase personal assets beyond the second or third million

Included in the proposed school curriculum is a selection of Joels
Head Laboratories' product white papers and catalogues. JHL clones
have been donated, as well, to demonstrate to youngsters the high
quality and efficiency of Joels Head products.
All gifts are expected to have been disbursed by the end of the week.
