Dear JHL,

I couldn't help, but to write you and tell you how much I've enjoyed my little "Fabio". Isn't it just dreamy? My friends had been trying to convince me for months that I needed a man around the house to fix the water heater, wax the car, and attend to my some of my more "feminine needs". I finally gave in after I received your Fall 1997 catalog [ed: Fall of 1997 is when we introduced the Companion model line].

I was really nervous when I made the call. It seemed like so much money! Your salesman did a wonderful job of putting my mind at ease and reassuring me that I could afford it. He even sold me the extended warranty at 3% off retail!

Now I'm the envy of all my friends. They just can't believe it! Not only does it fix everything around my house, but it fixes Mrs. Potterson's electric stove, Ms. Jenkin's car, Mrs. Tiddle's toilet, and Mrs. Wright's leaky faucet. It even helps Mr. Withershoop with his stereo from time-to-time. It's out all the time and at all hours of the day and night fixing everyone's things.

So far, "Fabio" has been almost trouble free. It's easy to feed (it'll eat anything), it gets along with EVERYONE, and it's just wonderful around the house. In fact, the only "problems" we've had are keeping enough Vaseline in the house (boy, I didn't realize just how much of that stuff you use when fixing things) and we have to be careful it doesn't see "Black Sheep Squadron" listed in the TV Guide or it'll just sit there for hours.
